Kinsey’s first foray into acting was at 10 years old when she was cast as an extra in Anchorman II: The Legend Continues. She decided then and there that she wanted to make a career of acting if she could. Since then, she has been cast in co-starring roles on some popular TV shows and worked on several short film projects, including her most recent lead role in “Summer of ’19.” Kinsey loves to write stories and screenplays. She recently had the privilege of making one of her screenplays into a short film. In this short, called “In Limbo”, Kinsey plays Death in the form of a witty, irreverent teen who changes a man’s life. A native Atlantan, Kinsey spends most of her spare time working on her craft, writing more short films of her own, and participating in local plays.
“Working with Kinsey is an absolute pleasure. She’s professional, receptive, and able to convey a range of emotions with the ease of a seasoned vet. She has a great sense of humor and an ability to make instant friends with everyone she meets.”
“Kinsey Kunkel was the lead in our short film Spotting, and I could not have been more impressed with her charisma and poise on the set. With a cast and crew of mostly adults, Kinsey fit in flawlessly and helped create an up-beat vibe during our shoot. I was also impressed with her talent. She was constantly making choices to make the character her own and using her comedic timing and improv skills to give us some amazing moments on film that no other young actress would have been able to do. I look forward to working with her again one day.”
