Merry Christmas from the Kunkel/Richbourg dynasty! This Christmas is a special one for me. I'm so incredibly grateful for God's incredible love over the past year. My poppop was diagnosed with cancer in the early spring and barely beat Covid in the fall. My mom, brother, and grandparents were all in a severe head-on collision on the highway that could have ended far worse than it did. And all amidst the chaos of a senior year, another Covid year, and the general hustle and bustle of life. This Christmas could have been very, very different. The fact that the eight of us are still here to sit around a table, and laugh, and talk about new things we've learned from sermons about Christmas is truly a testament to God's hand in our lives and nothing beats that gift for Christmas. Thank you all, and Merry Christmas!
Dear Stephen Sondheim, thank you for good company, frogs, and demon barbers. For Tony and Maria, Anthony and Johanna, for the baker and his wife. For fairytales gone wrong and funny things in forums. Thank you for finding the good in giants and assassins and the passage of time. Thank you for more than a little night music.
